Training Courses for manned and unmanned platforms

Take control of your data acquisition with one of our UAV or manned aerial survey courses. Both courses are designed to give and your staff the knowledge and skills to be able to plan and execute an aerial survey mission no matter your platform. Our courses draw on our extensive airborne survey experience across a wide range of industries. We give you valuable insights into airborne survey and highlight some of the potential costly pitfalls. While UAV and manned survey are essentially similar in theory there are big differences in execution. Hence we have developed two distinct courses. 

UAV Courses

Manned Aerial Survey Training

Our UAV aerial survey course is designed to give UAV operators and understanding of the basic principles of aerial survey and photogrammetry. It is a thoroughly comprehensive course covering everything you need to know to get started in remote sensing and delivering quality data. At the completion of two days of training we also include a month of phone and email support.

UAV survey design and Basics Principles

Our manned survey course is primarily designed to support our portable camera pod. It gives a good grounding in the planning and execution of an aerial survey with a manned aircraft using our pod systems. While it shares similar theory with the UAV course, more time is spent looking at logistical issues. Including airspace restrictions, aircraft performance and limiting factors like fuel availability.
